Leasing Campaign 2026 Terms and Conditions

MauBank Ltd is running a vehicle Leasing Campaign starting 12th August 2026 to end 30th September 2026 with a special offer on the rate of interest and a range of exclusive benefits on vehicle leasing. The offer is open to salaried individuals, self-employed, SMEs and Corporates.

Salaried customers can get an instant approval by applying for their lease online at any time convenient to them, and from the comfort of their home.

1. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.1. For Electric & Hybrid vehicles (new and recon)

Financing
  • New vehicles - Up to 100% financing of total cost (VAT exclusive).
  • Reconditioned (of less than 5 years) - Up to 75% financing of total cost (VAT inclusive).
Repayment Period
  • New vehicles - Up to 8 years.
  • Reconditioned (of less than 5 years) - Up to 6 years.
Interest Rate
  • 5.99% p.a. for the first 12 months.
  • 6.99% p.a. floating rate for the remaining period.
Note that APR is 6.85% over 5 years, 6.89% over 7 years and 6.90% over 8 years.


1.2. For standard new and reconditioned vehicles

Financing
  • New vehicles - Up to 100% financing of total cost (VAT exclusive).
  • Reconditioned (of less than 5 years) - Up to 75% financing of total cost (VAT inclusive).
Repayment Period
  • New vehicles - Up to 8 years.
  • Reconditioned (of less than 5 years) - Up to 6 years.
Interest Rate
  • 6.99% p.a. for the first 6 months.
  • 7.99% p.a. floating rate for the remaining period.
Note that APR is 8.02% over 5 years, 8.02% over 7 years and 8.02% over 8 years.

2. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

  • 50% discount on lease processing fees
  • Free Credit Card for the 1st year
  • No Insurance Handling Fee (Rs 500 saved)
  • Preferred rates on in-house insurance
  • Repayment period up to 8 years
  • After receiving the online in-principle approval, applicants will be required to submit original documents by visiting any Business Centre of MauBank Ltd for validation of the lease approval.


3. VALIDITY

  • The campaign is valid from 12th August 2026 to 30th September 2026, close of business, both dates inclusive (Campaign Period).
  • All lease applications received between 12th August 2026 and 30th September 2026 with disbursement to be completed no later than 15 October 2026.


4. ELIGIBILITY

  • The applicant should have a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum of 65 years.
  • The applicant should be a Mauritian citizen, or a non-Mauritian citizen, holder of a resident permit.
  • The applicant's total repayment should satisfy the bank's internal credit assessment criteria.


5. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO APPLY ONLINE

  • National Identity Card.
  • Birth Certificate.
  • Marriage Certificate (if applicable).
  • Proof of address of less than 3 months (CEB, CWA, Fixed Line, MT Bill).
  • Bank Statements - Last 6 months.
  • Salary Slip - Last 3 months.
  • Vehicle quotation or invoice.


The Bank reserves the right to terminate the campaign at any moment at its own discretion, without the need to provide any clarification and shall not be liable for the early termination of the Campaign.
